Monitoring And Safety Evaluation On The Reinforced Concrete Floor During Moving Of Overweight Facility

Abstract: Based on a practical engineering, a temporary retrofitting measure was adopted in some weak region of reinforced concrete floor and the relative vertical displacement between the reinforced concrete floor and basement floor was monitored in real time during the moving of the overweight facility, and the finite element method was used to conduct analysis to evaluate the safety of reinforced concrete floor. The monitored result and analytical results show that the temporary retrofitting measure adopted in this practical engineering is effective. And there is not any more new cracks developed in the reinforced concrete floor. The temporary retrofitting measure and monitoring method can be referred by other engineers.
